Ski Fit with Yoga & Brunch

Get outside for a fun and active morning with fellow members and meet new friends. This week we are adding a beginner Lyengar Yoga session to our popular Ski Fit program. 

New Members welcome.

8:55 am Meet in High Park, under the trees on the north side of the Grenadier Restaurant parking lot. See Map below.

9:00 am A fun warm up with introductions.  Includes agility and balance exercises.

9:15 am We head off to enjoy a variety of activities. Walk, run, Nordic pole walking...  We have groups for every fitness level.  Nordic pole walking guidance offered.  Bring your own walking poles, or we have some to share.

10:00 am Kasia will lead us in a beginner Lyengar Yoga class.  Lyengar Yoga puts emphasis on precision in the asanas (poses), and sequences that promote strength, stamina, and flexibility.  If you haven't tried Lyengar before, you are in for a treat!

11:00 a.m. It's time to check out the Grenadier Café for a well-deserved brunch or coffee (not included) and chat with new and old friends.

Ski Fit is a free program for all club members. Come check us out. 

We meet rain or shine. We have a shelter arranged for yoga in case of inclement weather.

Outdoor Yoga FAQ

What to wear for outdoor Yoga? Comfortable clothing with some stretch and warm enough to be outside. Bring an extra layer to put on at the end of the session when you are relaxing and listening to the sounds of nature around you.


Where will we do Yoga in the park?  If the day is fair, we will be out in the park or in a pre-arranged shelter.

What if it is raining? The Ski Fit program runs rain or shine. We have a shelter arranged in case of inclement weather.

What to bring? It is your responsibility to bring a yoga mat for your practice.

Getting Here

Location: 180 Colborne Lodge Dr., Toronto. In the centre of High Park. Meet on the North side of the Grenadier parking lot, under the trees. See orange arrow on park map below.

By TTC: Just a few minutes walk south from the High Park subway station.

By Car: Free parking is available throughout the High Park.

What to wear for Ski Fit?: Wear running or walking shoes, and apparel to suit the weather, optional walking poles.
