NOTE: Only members are allowed to go on our trips. If you cannot attend on Oct 29, you may contact the Trip Leader any time after the trip sign up meeting and register for a trip.

BEFORE YOU COME:

• Press on Long Trips > Overnight Bus Trips.

• Press on any trip that interests you, understand the options and costs.

• Print the description so you have a hard copy.

• Log in with your email address and PW.

• Download and complete the application form. Print and sign 3 copies.

• Make sure you use the correct form, “Overnight Bus Trips Application Form” not the Charter Trips Form.

TIME TO ARRIVE:

5:00 pm to 7:30 pm - pick up your numbered entry ticket, First-Come-First-Served.

7:30 pm - doors open at Lithuanian Hall.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Chequebook - all trips may be paid by cheque on this night only. Bring enough cheques if you are signing up for more than 1 trip.

• Credit card (Visa or MasterCard accepted) - many members take advantage of points and travel insurance (but confirm your CC Insurance coverage beforehand).

• Description of trip.

• Completed application forms. Print and sign 3 copies.

• If you have not yet joined High Park Ski Club, blank forms will be available in the hall.

• Bring a pen.

SIGN-UP PROCEDURES:

Every member arriving at the Lithuanian Hall must get a numbered entry ticket from the volunteer at the door in order to sign up for a trip. Sequentially numbered entry tickets will be handed out beginning at 5:00 pm. 

Some keeners are known to arrive earlier so don't be surprised to find a few people ahead of you in line.

Members will be allowed into the main hall in small groups of 5-10 based on their ticket number starting at 7:30 pm. There are 2 entrances into the hall, the bar and the lobby, so members can wait in either location. 

When you enter the hall, immediately surrender your numbered entry ticket for a trip voucher, at the Voucher Table.

NEW FOR THIS YEAR: You can get a maximum of 1 trip voucher when you surrender your entry ticket. 

If you are signing up with a roommate/travel partner (must also be a member) you may get a 2nd voucher for that trip. For each voucher you'll need an application form (+ copies) and payment.

A voucher is required to sign up for a trip before 8:30 pm. Once you have a voucher, you are guaranteed a spot on that trip until 8:30 pm.

Proceed to the table for your trip with your completed application forms. Original is for the trip leader, copy 1 for accounting (HPSC), copy 2 for your receipt to be initialled by the trip leader.

Vouchers expire at 8:30 pm. Then all open spots are available on a first-come-first-served basis. After 8:30 pm there is no limit to the number of trips that members can sign up for.

AFTERWARD:

• The bar will be open for refreshments before, during and after Trip Sign-Up. Trip Sign-Up will wind down at 8:45-9:00 pm. We encourage you to stick around and socialize with other members.
