Overnight trips will follow all safety protocols to make sure our members stay as safe as possible from catching coronavirus on one of these trips. We know that travel will not be the same because of social distancing, face masks and hygiene principles during travel and at the resorts. With safety as top of mind, we have made some critical decisions about the best way to offer overnight trips.
Member surveys told us that there is little interest in trips to US destinations in 2021 due to the continuing coronavirus issues south of the border. Therefore our overnight trips are planned for Eastern Canada only. Changes in coronavirus conditions might allow us to offer additional overnight trips beyond those listed below at a later date, especially if there is an overwhelming demand for seats at trip signup.
Many members are currently uncomfortable being on a bus for the lengthy period of time to get to distant Quebec ski resorts, and it is not financially viable to run buses for long trips at reduced capacities, so our 2021 overnight trips have been established for those who can arrange their own transportation to the resorts. There will be no luxury coach for these trips as in previous years. Carpooling within your bubble may be the best way to travel. Outdoor parking is available at all resorts at no charge.
Due to the pandemic, HPSC will not be assigning roommates on this year’s trips. If you do not have a pre-arranged roommate, you will be required to pay the single room supplement.
Here is what you will get on every multi-day trip except as noted in the full trip descriptions:

Signing up for a trip is by online registration. After you login, click on the links below to register for the trip of your choice. Registration continues until the trip is sold out. You must join the club and pay the membership fee for the current season to be eligible to register.
We welcome non-member’s enquiries about our long trips program. Non-members wanting information can email longtrips@hpsc.ca. You must become a HPSC member to participate in our trips.
If you see a “Join Waitlist” button instead of the “Register” button, do not think that you have missed out. Go ahead and add your name to the waitlist; there is no cost to do so. We try to accommodate everybody on the waitlists by obtaining more space on each trip. You could also get a place when there is a cancellation, which happens from time to time.
