Lifts: 5 days skiing: Alta, Snowbird (2), Brighton, Snowbasin

NOTE: There is no snowboarding allowed at Alta, only skiing.

Optional 6th day of skiing: $ 99 / per person (CAD) valid for skiing at Alta, Snowbird, Brighton or Solitude using public transportation (Utah Bus Transportation)

No Lifts: Not available

Land Only:  Deduct $525. The transfer bus will not wait for passengers who are arranging their own air travel. No discount will be given for missed transfers and those passengers must make their own arrangements to get to the resort.

Single:  $2545 per person (limited rooms available)

1st bag $25 CAD/USD (per direction, including taxes)

2nd bag $35 CAD/USD (per direction, including taxes)

Skis and boots are considered 1 pc even if in separate bags as long as nothing else is in the bags. (Subject to change, check with your airline.)

Deviation charges: Any person deviating from the group itinerary will be charged $TBD CAD plus any additional charges imposed by the suppliers and airlines. Deviations are on a request basis. Members must abide by the prearranged transfer dates and times or arrange their own transfers at their own cost.

Airport and Land Transfers:

Return dedicated ground transfers from airport to accommodation.

Private transfers to the ski resorts

Passport / Travel Documents:

Canadian citizens need a Canadian passport that is valid until at least 6 months after the scheduled return date. Other nationalities may require different documents. It is necessary for such people to advise their nationality at the time of booking so that we can determine what travel documents they will require in order to participate in this trip. For all nationalities, please note that entry to another country may be refused even if the required information and travel documents are complete.

Note:  Members are solely responsible to ensure that their travel documents are complete, valid and in order.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation Policies are set by the Tour Operators, not HPSC.  Please consider your commitment carefully before booking your trip.

·         Before December 22, 2017 $500.00 deposit is nonrefundable

·         On or after December 22, 2017 100% non-refundable

·         Insurance is nonrefundable from date of issuance.

·         Please note that any unused portion of a ski trip will not be refunded as per conditions above.

Passengers must submit a claim to their insurance company if they cancel after the above dates.

Optional Travel Insurance:

Comprehensive Travel Insurance is available to protect non-refundable payments in the event that participants are forced to cancel their vacation prior to departure or interrupt vacation due to medical reasons.  See menu above for HPSC Insurance advice and Tour Operator’s Insurance Table.  All Insurance payments must accompany deposit in order to be valid.

The Fine Print:  Tickets are 100% nonrefundable once issued. Name changes and deviations are not permitted once ticketed.  Individuals must ensure that all names are spelled correctly and match their personal identification on their passport.  The Tour Operator and Airline will not be held liable for delays or cancellations caused by strikes, labor disputes, government actions, weather or any cause beyond the Tour Operator’s or Airline’s control. The Airline reserves the right to change equipment or schedules. The customer hereby releases and waives any claims against the Airline and Tour Operator regarding cancellation or schedule changes.

Resort Info:

This legendary powder snow in Utah is perfect for skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. A wide choice of resorts is available in the immediate area where you can find the best skiing conditions in the world.

The statistics and conditions of this destination are impressive: altitude of 3,350 meters, average temperature of about -5 degrees C., Alta and Snowbird’s ideal locations, snowfalls of 12.7 to 14 meters of precious white snow crystals, low humidity due to the proximity of the Nevada desert as well as the long ski season from mid-November to mid-June.

In addition to being one of the nicest cities in the United States, Salt Lake City has it all in terms of accommodations, restaurants and entertainment no matter what your budget.

Lifts: One Aerial Tram, 10 chairlifts including six high-speed detachable quads and four doubles (most with arm and leg rests) and two conveyer lifts.

Terrain: 27 percent beginner, 38 percent intermediate, 35 percent advanced/expert.

Elevation: Top of resort is 11,000-foot Hidden Peak, lowest point on the mountain is bottom of Baby Thunder chairlift at 7,760 feet. The 125-person Tram covers 2,900 vertical feet in approximately seven minutes.

Terrain Park: The Snowbird Terrain Park is located on the lower part of the Big Emma run. It is accessed by the Mid Gad or Gadzoom lifts.

Snowfall: Snowbird averages approximately 500 inches of low-density, “dry” Utah powder annually. Thanks to ideal geography and a phenomenon called Lake Effect, Little Cottonwood Canyon powder is known worldwide.
