Regular lessons will be offered, as well as guided snowshoeing.
This trip will open for registration on February 7, 2022 at 9 am.
By signing up for this trip, members agree to follow HPSC's COVID-19 policies and procedures at all times while on the trip. Please review prior to the cancellation deadline to ensure you are able to comply with all the policies and procedures.
Register here if you are DRIVING UP and want to take a lesson or join guided snowshoeing. You will only sign up for your lesson or guided snowshoeing; you must pay for your trail pass and rentals (if needed) at the resort. You are NOT eligible for group rates on trail passes or rentals.
If you want to drive up but not take a lesson or join guided snowshoeing, do not register.
There are trails for every ability level. The chalet is open for patrons to warm up, use the washrooms, or browse the retail area. However, people will not be able to consume food and drink inside the chalet. So be prepared to spend most of your time outside and to use your car as the home base (to get ready and store your bags etc.). We recommend that members bring water, snacks, and lunch. The cafe is NOT operational. Given the limited indoor space, we also recommend that members bring a small pack with extra food and dry clothes (socks, mitts, base layers) to ski/snowshoe with. Highlands offers rental packages (classic skis, skate skis, and snowshoes).
Highlands requires that people wear a mask indoors, and outdoors within 50 metres of the chalet, but masks can be taken off while on the trails.

Please see here for an explanation of lesson level to help you make the right choice. There is also more information on lessons in general in the FAQs.
If you need to cancel your spot, email crosscountry@hpsc.ca. Please cancel by 8 PM the Tuesday before the trip (for this trip: Tues., February 15, 2022). We anticipate demand for lessons to be high; if you register for lessons, please show up. If you know you can't, please let us know in advance. If too many people are no shows, we may have to change our drive up policies.
