Regular lessons will be offered. (We had to cancel guided snowshoeing).
This trip will open for registration on February 20, 2022 at 8pm.
By signing up for this trip, members agree to follow HPSC's COVID-19 policies and procedures at all times while on the trip. Please review prior to the cancellation deadline to ensure you are able to comply with all the policies and procedures.
Register here if you are DRIVING UP and want to take a lesson. You will only sign up for your lesson; you must pay for your trail pass and rentals (if needed) at the resort.
If you want to drive up but not take a lesson, do not register.
Please note that Arrowhead is charging for vehicle access this year and there is a daily cap. I understand that they are selling out weekends early. It is your responsibility to find out when booking opens and do it early enough to ensure your spot. You can find that info on the website.
Arrowhead has 29 km of classic trails and 12 km of skate trails. They now have the famous ice skate trail. Feel free to bring your skates and helmet. The newly opened Centre is a beautiful building with ski and snowshoe rental facilities, washrooms, water, and a big sitting area; however, there is no cafeteria. So you must bring your lunch and water. There are capacity limits in the chalet; you must use your car to eat lunch and store your belongings.

Please see here for an explanation of lesson level to help you make the right choice. There is also more information on lessons in general in the FAQs.
If you need to cancel your spot, email crosscountry@hpsc.ca. Please cancel by 8 PM the Tuesday before the trip (for this trip: Tues., March 1, 2022). We anticipate demand for lessons to be high; if you register for lessons, please show up. If you know you can't, please let us know in advance. If too many people are no shows, we may have to change our drive up policies.
