Kawartha Nordic, located near Peterborough, has 46km of classic trails, 27km of skate trails, and 9km of snowshoe trails. Join us for an wonderful day of cross-country skiing or explore the resort's snowshoe trails. The trails are ideal for beginner and intermediate skiers (few tough hills!) and there are lovely warm-up cabins along the trails, complete with chickadees. There is a lovely chalet, but no food or water available so please pack lunch, snacks, and enough water for the day. The chalet and the trail cabins will be open this year. We may need to use the bus to store our belongings.
Kawartha offers rental packages (classic skis, skate skis and snowshoes).
RENTERS: After registering, you must email crosscountry@hpsc.ca with the following information: height, weight, shoe size, ski style (classic/skate).
