Trip Type: Cross-Country and Snowshoeing

Cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Regular lessons (Classic & Skate L1-5) and the first session of the classic beginners' series (no new participants allowed) will be offered. Guided snowshoeing will be offered.

About Hardwood

Hardwood has beautiful trails for both skiing and snowshoeing. There is a trail for every level of ability, from beginner to expert. The main chalet is a beautiful building with indoor dining facilities and washrooms. Bag storage is available outside the main washrooms in the basement of the chalet. Rental equipment is located across from the main chalet. Hot food will also be available. There is also a bar service with beer and wine options.

RENTERS: Renters must book their rentals online directly from Hardwood. The instructions for how to do it and the code to get the discount will be provided a couple days prior to the trip. We recommend that you don't book until close to the trip to ensure the trip is running and you will be on it.

Everyone must also fill out a waiver and bring it on the bus.

What's included

• Classic Beginner's Series (Day 1 of 3) - required advanced registration by email. The series is currently full.
  
• Regular lessons (Classic & Skate L1-5)
  
• Guided snowshoeing
• Luxury return coach to the resort
• Group rates on trail passes
• Drop off will start at Hwy 400/7 and then will go straight to Keele station (and then to Davenport and up Yonge). You may want to get off at Keele station and take the subway from there

Please note

• Recommended: Masks be worn on the bus. Members will need to follow all COVID policies that may be in place at the resort
• West end pick up at the main subway entrance of Keele station. On the east side of Keele street, just north of Bloor Street
• No guests allowed
• This is a bus registration only (no drive ups)
  
• Please choose your registration options carefully. You will be unable to change them after registering. Questions with a star next to them are mandatory and require a response, before registration can proceed.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your registration up until 8 PM the Tuesday before the trip (for this trip: Tues., January 16, 2024). You must email cancellations@hpsc.ca for the cancellation to be processed. For more information on how to cancel, visit the Cross-Country FAQ page.
