Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Classic & Skate L1-2 will be offered. Tips & Tricks will be offered for classic and skate will be offered. Guided snowshoeing will be offered.
Registration opens Feb. 5 at 9pm.
Conditions: Given the forecast, conditions will likely be soft and wet...very springy as the temperature is supposed to be quite warm overnight and during the day. This is actually pretty good for beginners - better than icy! If it's is supposed to rain a lot, I would cancel. If the forecast is for a bit of rain, I would send it.
There are classic, skate and snowshoe trails for every ability level. We will have our own cabin where we will be able to store our belongings and have our lunch. There are also bathroom facilities. Please bring your lunch, snacks, and water. There is a snack bar in the main building but we cannot guarantee that there will be extensive food available for purchase. Scenic Caves offers rental packages (classic skis, skate skis, and snowshoes).
